My art practice is rooted in experimentation, exploring a range of mediums including printmaking, oil pastel, pencil, charcoal, ink, acrylic, gouache, and watercolour. I am drawn to the process of discovering how each medium can shape and transform an idea.
Women are a recurring subject within my work, with a particular interest in portraiture and the representation of the female figure. I enjoy creating both self-portraits and portraits of others, often capturing moments of quiet rest and unawareness, contrasted with moments of complete poise and awareness of the viewer. Through these shifting perspectives, I explore intimacy, presence, and the relationship between subject and observer.
